Sales Leadership Opportunities

District Manager/District Branch Manager

Recruit, select, develop and motivate a team of Financial Advisors. District offices may be housed within the division or at an independent location.

Associate Managing Principal

Assist a division and demonstrate its ability to perform duties that ensure growth in sales, number of advisors, new client acquisition, assets under management and advisor productivity. Success can lead to a division office within six to 12 months.

Managing Principal/ Complex Managing Principal

Lead the division office(s) in key strategic areas of business planning, sales growth and growth of the advisor force. Focus is to motivate and guide management team, Financial Advisors and administrative staff; remove roadblocks to success; oversee day-to-day operation of division office(s); support and execute corporate initiatives; implement appropriate compliance practices; and represent Waddell & Reed in the community and industry.

Regional Vice President

Shape and lead a team of Managing Principals1 within the region and assist them in the successful leadership of the divisions. Also, act as an advisory council to the National Sales Manager and impact company policy and direction.
